A Theory of Entanglement
June 2025
There are many things
They don’t tell you before you’re a father
The mess
The stress
The joy
The pain
The wonder
The curiosity
The little moments that slip away like sand through fingers.
But above all:
Your life is not yours
You belong to another
And they belong to you
Forever together
Impossible to separate
A beautiful mess
A mingling of souls
Entangled, completely
Red Water
August 2025
The Great Lake
Is completely calm
Perfectly peaceful
The water runs red
With the light of the dying sun
The shrieks of excited children fill the air
So far removed from a world that
Is completely chaotic
Perfectly panicked
The water runs red
With the blood of dying innocents
The shrieks of grieving mothers fill the air
A world away and yet a part of
The Great Lake
